Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Trauma for a 14-week inpatient assignment in our Emergency Department. The position features a 3rd shift, rotating, with 12-hour shifts, and you will provide comprehensive nursing care to an adult patient population under established standards.

Applicants must have at least 2 years of ED/Trauma experience, hold a current RN license (state or compact), and maintain BLS, ACLS, TNCC; PALS is required within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Emergency Department/Trauma nursing experience.
• Current RN license (state) or Multi-state License under Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• BLS certification or an approved equivalent, ACLS, TNCC; PALS required within one year of hire.
• Clinical competence and knowledge of nursing theory and practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment, primarily adults.
• Deliver care in line with ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice and institutional policies.
• Demonstrate clinical competence and patient care management relevant to ED/Trauma.

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within one year of hire

Must-Have:

• Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment
• Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice as obtained through completion of an accredited School of Nursing
