Job summary

Norton Healthcare's Transport Services is seeking a Coordinator-RN to lead education and orientation for all transport disciplines. This on-site role requires excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to design and deliver training while monitoring progress for new and existing staff.

Based in Louisville, KY, you will work with the medical director and referring facilities, plus EMS partners across the region to maintain high competency levels.

Qualifications

• Three years of transport experience.
• Bachelor Degree required.
• Registered Nurse and one of the following certifications within two years of hire: CEN, CPEN, CFRN, CTRN, TCRN.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate orientation programs for new team members and assess development and education goals.
• Develop and execute educational programs for all discipline levels on the transport team.
• Outreach education and relationship development with referring facilities and EMS services across the region in collaboration with the team's medical director.
• Maintain competencies with a 10-week schedule rotation requiring a minimum of 10 shifts as a transport RN.
