Job summary

University Hospitals' Lerner Tower 9 on the Transplant and Bariatric Acute Care Step Down Unit seeks a Weekender RN to cover two 12-hour shifts from Friday 7:00 PM to Monday 7:00 AM. Weekenders receive a 1.5x pay premium for weekend shifts and are eligible for full-time medical and dental benefits as part of their package.

The unit specializes in solid organ transplants (liver, kidney, pancreas) and emphasizes teamwork, safety, and expert patient care for postoperative patients stepping down

Qualifications

• Thorough nursing process knowledge is required.
• One year of RN experience is required.
• Current Ohio RN license and BLS are required.

Responsibilities

• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and PHI requirements.
• Provide direct patient care on a surgical transplant unit.
