Job summary

BARNES-JEWISH HOSPITAL's Transitional Care Unit is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care on three 12‑hour night shifts weekly in a fast-paced Level I Trauma Center. You will collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to support diverse and complex patient needs.

Qualifications

• RN license is required.
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Promotes patient- and family-centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and families on post-treatment home care needs and medications; participates in quality and safety initiatives.
