Job summary

Transylvania Regional Hospital, part of Mission Health, is seeking an experienced registered nurse to lead nursing care in our Transitional Care Unit in Brevard, NC. You will coordinate assessment, planning, and delivery of patient care for individuals preparing to return home.

Requirements include an Associate's or BSN, NC RN licensure (eNLC may apply), BLS certification, and at least one year of hospital nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• License: Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC license may apply; licensee should confirm with NCBON
• RN license must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider
• Experience: One year hospital nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Implements medically prescribed interventions.

Education
