Qualifications

• Education Program Graduate, Registered Nurse (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred).
• 3-4 years RN experience in Acute Care setting (Required).
• 1 year Critical Care or emergency nursing (Preferred).
• Transfer Center experience preferred.
• Nurse Triage experience preferred.
• Computer experience required.
• Efficient at typing/keyboarding required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) (Required).
• CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/AHA ARC (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all inbound and outbound calls for transfers.
• Perform triage of patient symptoms via nurse line.
• Arrange transport based on clinical assessment to ensure throughput.
• Coordinate bed placement with physician and bed management.
• Communicate patient status to care teams throughout transfer/admission.
