Summary

We are hiring a full-time RN Trainer to conduct virtual trainings for Home Health Aides at our Middleburg Heights, OH Home Office.

Schedule: 8AM-4:30PM

*This is an in-office position.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate training of new staff.
• Teach theory and skills according to regulatory guidelines.
• Provide ongoing in-service education.
• Conduct competency evaluations for all field personnel.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required paperwork, including courses, in-services, and evaluations.
• Perform nursing procedures as required for medical compliance.
• Serve as a resource for education and enrichment of trainees and employees.
• Follow assigned teaching schedules.
• Participate with other instructors in evaluating students during training programs.
• Arrange for replenishment of classroom paperwork and supplies.
• Monitor attendance records.
• Assist with on-site training and coaching of direct care staff at all locations.
• Monitor orientation program progress and evaluate training effectiveness.
• Maintain an on-site library of training materials.

Job Description

The Home and Community Based Services RN Trainer handles clerical and scheduling duties that support the agency’s operations, ensuring all in-house data is accurate and current.

Education and Experience

Education Requirements

• Current RN license in the practicing state.
• Current CPR certification.

Experience Desired

• At least two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• One (1) year of Home Health experience preferred.
• One (1) year of training experience preferred.

Skill Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, documentation, and telephone skills.
• Proficiency with computers.
• Familiarity with Teams for virtual training.
