Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience in Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing preferred.
• Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to lift 25+ pounds; stand, bend and walk for extended time.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to meet resident needs per standards and physician orders.
• Plan nursing interventions based on individual resident needs.
• Evaluate care effectiveness and develop alternative interventions.
• Conduct family and resident education.
• Administer medications and treatments per policy.
