Memorial Health is seeking a Summer Nurse Intern to work on-site under the supervision of an RN, providing age-appropriate care and supporting patient assessment, planning, and evaluation. The role emphasizes learning and development, with tasks aligned to the Nursing Technician scope and no medication administration or IV management.

Requirements include junior-year BSN or two semesters of ADN, current CPR certification, and the ability to handle exposure to biological materials.

Qualificações

• Completion of junior year in a BSN nursing program or two semesters of an ADN program.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Exposure to blood, bodily fluids, tissues, contagious diseases, and hazardous materials.

Responsabilidades

• Work under the direct supervision of an RN to provide age-appropriate care.
• Utilize assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation to support patient care.
• Assimilate and act on data reflecting patient status with the RN.
• Perform basic tasks within the Nursing Technician scope as validated, not administering medications or IV fluids.
