Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a registered nurse (RN) to coordinate nursing care, deliver direct patient care, and educate patients and families. The RN supports professional nursing practice across care settings and leads through preceptor and quality improvement roles while ensuring safe, high‑quality care.

Successful candidates will have an active RN license, BLS, and strong communication and teamwork skills, with flexibility for days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
• Maintain Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (AHA or Red Cross).
• Experience in nursing and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, nights, holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care including direct patient care and education.
