Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Dallas, Texas is hiring a Registered Nurse to oversee patient care on a Med Tele or Med Surg unit, with day shift (3 shifts of 12 hours, 7:00am–7:00pm).

You will perform patient assessments, create care plans, educate patients and families, delegate tasks, and ensure safety and compassionate care in line with the Texas Nursing Practice Act.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Program.
• RN license without restrictions.
• 1+ year RN experience in Med Tele or 2+ years in Med Surg.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient assessments and create, implement, and evaluate care plans.

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse, oversee patient care using a professional practice model. Responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. Secure patient travel. Know about patient needs in healthcare. Help patients and prevent issues. Follow the Texas Nursing Practice Act and delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.

• As an RN, conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs. Create, implement, and evaluate care plans. Adjust plans to reach desired outcomes.
