Job summary

Austin Regional Clinic is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide routine nursing care via telephone within our ambulatory network.

Responsibilities include triage over the phone, guiding patients to appropriate care, documenting assessments, and collaborating with physicians and staff to promote patient safety. Remote-work opportunities may arise after initial on-site training in Texas.

Qualifications

• RN license in Texas is required.
• Two or more years of RN experience preferred, especially in triage or ambulatory settings.
• Experience with English/Spanish bilingual communication is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess and prioritize medical needs via telephone.
• Direct patients to appropriate care and document assessments.
• Call pharmacies for refills under physician direction.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and company policies.
• Support team training and provide patient education over the phone.
