Job description

Duties

• Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing procedures such as gastric lavage, spinal tap, and esthetic laser treatment
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
• Educate patients and their families on various aspects of care, including family planning and neonatal ventilator use
• Document patient information accurately and timely, including coding and maintaining electronic health records
• Assist with patient mobility and lifting, ensuring proper body mechanics and safety protocols are followed
• Provide ostomy care and support to patients with ostomies
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in an ambulatory surgery center setting to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Skills
