Job summary

Glenwood Regional Medical Center seeks a Telemetry RN to direct, plan, and organize nursing activities on the Telemetry unit with a focus on patient, physician and staff needs. The Registered Nurse supports the medical care of patients under the direction of the Medical Staff pursuant to the mission and objectives of the Hospital.

Graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active Louisiana nursing license are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current Louisiana nursing license in good standing
• Telemetry nursing experience preferred
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• ACLS and other certifications due within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• The Telemetry RN directs, plans, and organizes nursing activities on the Telemetry unit
• Provides patient care under the direction of Medical Staff
• Supports physician and staff needs in alignment with hospital mission

The Registered Nurse supports the medical care of patients under the direction of the Medical Staff pursuant to the mission and objectives of the Hospital.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Louisiana Nursing License in good standing
• Previous clinical nursing experience in Telemetry desired
• BLS is required within 30 days of the hire date.
• All other certifications are due within 90 days of the hire date, i.e., ACLS.
