Job summary

Dignity Health - Northridge Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care. You will perform assessments, coordinate patient care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited/approved nursing program.
• Minimum one year current acute care RN experience in a specialty area.
• Current and Active RN license: CA.
• Basic Life Support / Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
• Fire Safety within 90 days and Preferred.
• Experience with EHR (Cerner, MediTech, etc).
• Progressive Care Certified Nurse, upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to established Hospital/departmental policies and procedures, objectives, Quality Assessment and Improvement Program, legal, safety, environmental, infection control standards, Nurse Practices Act and Patient's Bill of Rights.
• Applies clinical knowledge and expertise for coordinating patient care by regularly planning and evaluating the care of patients.
• Establishes and maintains professional and collaborative relationships with other staff members, physicians, patients, patient family members, and the public as appropriate, while assuring confidentiality of all patient information.
• Demonstrates effective nursing judgement and a working knowledge of the nursing process.
• Provides guidance to interdisciplinary team members by supervising nursing interventions and assisting with related tasks.
• Provides leadership by establishing priorities and coordinating nursing care.

This position is represented by SEIU L121 and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

We are not currently accepting new graduate or new to speciality applications. Our next posting period will be July 1, 2026 for an October 16, 2026 start date.

Positions can be found under National Resident RN (<12 months experience as an RN) or RN Transition/Fellowship (>12 months experience as an RN.

Pay Range

$52.90 - $75.30 /hour
