Job Description:

This travel contract is for a Cardiac Tele Registered Nurse supporting adult and geriatric patients on a telemetry and medical-surgical unit. The assignment includes three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with floating to medical-surgical areas and the emergency department hold area as needed. You will monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage dysrhythmias, care for patients before and after cardiac procedures, administer cardiac medications and drips without titration, and respond with rapid response and code teams. The role also includes managing central and peripheral lines, chest tubes, wound care, blood products, dialysis-related care, and complex oxygen needs. Cardiac telemetry experience, BLS, NIHSS, and EKG proficiency are required. First-time travelers are welcome, and navy blue or solid-color scrubs are required.
