Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s condition at admission and each shift, reporting changes.
• Administer medications and monitor therapeutic response with documentation in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and proactively meet needs.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, medications, and follow-up.
