Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a current, valid state RN license.
• Current, valid CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of direct care providers to ensure medications and treatments are executed, with proper documentation, family teaching, care planning and patient care conferencing.
• Use the nursing process to deliver patient care and ensure continuity from admission through discharge.
• Visit residents daily to observe status and notify the charge nurse or physician of changes.
• Identify emergencies and initiate lifesaving measures in absence of a physician.
• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting.
