Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with current state license.
• Geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise and work with others.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good physical stamina and ability to meet care standards.
• Able to read, write, speak English at intermediate level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor nursing care and duties performed by Nursing Assistants.
• Assist Nursing Assistants with direct resident care as needed.
• Report changes to RN Unit Manager or Charge RN.
• Follow Plan of Care and monitor implementation.
• Document in care plans, Nursing Notes, and MARs.
• Ensure resident rights and preferences in care are respected.
