Job summary

System Support is seeking a Team Leader for the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Program in Ohio. Full time, 72 hours per pay, 8:00am-4:30pm shifts, and close collaboration with the Director of Physical Medicine on patient care services.

The role requires an RN license in Ohio, an associate degree (nursing) with potential for a Bachelor’s, and 5–7 years of cardiopulmonary experience. Strong leadership and team-building skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge base in cardiovascular and pulmonary anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology, particularly ischemic heart disease.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular and pulmonary assessment techniques and cardiac monitoring.
• Ability to manage time, organize, and communicate effectively; managerial potential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Team and work with the Director of Physical Medicine on patient care services.
• Develop and implement patient care programs, fiscal management, HR management and quality management.
• Model responsible team membership and foster personal and career growth of department personnel.

The Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Program employs a Team Leader who is responsible for maintaining an environment which meets customer needs, encourages teamwork and fosters the personal and career growth of the department personnel. This position works closely with the Director of Physical Medicine in the development and implementation of patient care service and programs, fiscal management, human resource management, and quality management. Additionally, the position models responsible team membership.

Education

Minimum Level of Education Required: Associate degree

Knowledge/Skills

• Knowledge base in cardiovascular and pulmonary anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology, particularly in ischemic heart disease.
• Knowledge base in cardiovascular and pulmonary physical assessment techniques, cardiac monitoring treatment techniques and arrhythmia recognition, and psychological evaluation and intervention.
• Demonstrates knowledge base and skill in providing care to specific age groups.
• Demonstrates time management, organizational skills, positive communication skills, and management potential through education or minimum of one-year experience in managerial role.
