Job summary

Trinity Health's Mount Carmel Lewis Center seeks an RN Team Lead for our Free Standing Emergency Department. This full-time day shift oversees staffing, ensures quality patient care, and supports administrative duties across two 12-hour day shifts with weekend rotation.

You will coordinate unit staffing, supervise nursing teams, participate in onboarding, and lead performance improvement initiatives to meet care standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience.
• Effective communication skills.
• BLS healthcare provider training required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership for patient care.
• Monitor patient flow and ensure quality care and safe staffing.
• Delegate care assignments according to staff skill and patient acuity.
• Ensure staff has equipment and supplies for safe care.
• Onboard, assess competency, and track unit-based education.
• Contribute to department performance improvement and policy review.
• Provide clinical information and act as a resource for colleagues.
