Mercy seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for Surgical Stepdown at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO. The role is full-time on day shift (36 hours/week) with a $20,000 sign-on bonus for experienced RNs.

Qualified candidates hold an RN license in Missouri (or compact licensure), BSN preferred, and BLS certification. Hospital experience is valued, with emphasis on patient care, confidentiality, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure accepted.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Hospital experience preferred depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Makes professional accountability for care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coords patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs duties in line with Mercy mission and standards.
