We are hiring a Registered Nurse for our Surgical Short Stay Unit in Boise. This unit offers growth opportunities including cross-training to PACU and SPAR. It is a 24-48 hour discharge unit with a supportive, positive team committed to exceptional patient care!

This position is located at our Level II Trauma Center off I-184 and Curtis Rd.

*Three 12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00*

As an RN at Saint Alphonsus, you will provide hands-on patient care, collaborate with colleagues, maintain accurate documentation, and utilize resources efficiently. You will advocate for patients by promoting their physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being, educate patients, administer medications and treatments, and develop personalized care plans.

Position Details: RNs on the Transitional Observation Unit care for patients needing additional observation to rule out chest pains or outpatient status. It’s a fast-paced, independent environment with strong leadership and opportunities for career advancement and training. Ideal candidates are adaptable, self-motivated learners, and team players.

License/Certification Requirements:

• Current RN license required.
• Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required at hire. ACLS and PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire, PALS within 12 months.
