Job Description

Under the supervision of the Director of Surgical Services, the RN Surgical Services Resource Coordinator ensures delivery of high-quality care by nursing and support staff throughout the surgical process. Responsibilities include patient preparation, monitoring, and support during recovery. The role involves leading and supervising staff in Surgical Services, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and regulations. A key focus is the continuous evaluation of care delivery to maintain outstanding perioperative care.

Job Requirements

• Education: Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN or MSN preferred.
• Training: Expertise in medical terminology, surgical procedures, task prioritization, and communication skills. Management experience in planning and coaching preferred.
• Licensure & Certification: Unencumbered Georgia RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications. CST or FA preferred.
• Work Experience: 2-3 years supervisory experience in perioperative healthcare preferred. Computer skills in Word and Excel.
