ADP, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for Surgical Services in Marlette, MI, on a part-time basis.

This role focuses on delivering perioperative care before, during, and after surgery to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. The ideal candidate will hold an RN license, have a nursing degree (ADN or BSN), BLS certification, and experience in perioperative settings with strong sterile technique and infection control knowledge.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct preoperative assessments including reviewing patient history, vital signs, and laboratory results to prepare patients for surgery.
• Assist in the operating room by preparing surgical instruments, maintaining sterile fields, and supporting the surgical team during procedures.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition intraoperatively and postoperatively, promptly identifying and addressing any complications.
• Provide postoperative care including pain management, wound care, patient education, and coordination of discharge planning.
• Document all nursing care activities accurately and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) credential.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are preferred at the time of hire and must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems specific to surgical services.
• Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
