Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is seeking an RN for the Weekender Flex role in the Liver OR. You will provide professional nursing care in an operative setting for adult and pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures, supporting a renowned transplant program.

The position is full-time with weekend days plus one weekday shift. Compensation ranges from $35.50 to $55.60 per hour, with benefits commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN).
• One year RN experience required or completion of perioperative residency program.
• Current state RN licensure, BLS required, ACLS within 6 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care in an operative setting for adult and pediatric patients.
• Perform scrub functions, including selecting and handling instruments and supplies.
• Perform circulating functions, monitoring and communicating patient condition.
• Assist the operating physician with surgical tasks such as hemostasis and suturing.
• Prepare the Operating Room, instruments and equipment for use.

Requirements

Education:

Licenses & Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire preferred
