Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice for the RN and care team.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to meet expected outcomes.
• RN takes primary responsibility for patient care as delivered by the Care Team under supervision.

This is a Full time, benefited OR RN role at Scripps Green in Torrey Pines La Jolla. Hours are with an alternate work schedule consisting of 0645-1715 and 0645-1730 and on call responsibilities.

Scripps Green is a 173-bed hospital that has served the La Jolla and greater San Diego communities with distinction since 1977.

Join Scripps Green Hospital Surgery Team, which operates in 12 OR suites and sees 900 cases a month. The ideal candidate for the position will have 1 or more years of OR experience, including, but not limited to Ortho (total Joints/LER- lower extremity reconstruction), General, Urology, Vascular, Spine, Plastics, ENT, Robotics, Neuro, and Transplant. This is a busy and fast-paced environment which requires teamwork and cooperation to provide the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice.
• Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes.
• The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision.
• Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

The following are not eligible for hiring incentives:

• Internal candidates
• Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago
• Candidates with less than 1 year of experience as an RN
