Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time role with evening, night, weekend and holiday call requirements. The RN provides professional nursing care, assesses patient conditions, plans and evaluates care, and documents progress.

Collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team is essential to meet unit goals. Education required includes an Associate degree in nursing, with a BSN preferred within 5 years.

Qualifications

• Education: ADN or BSN; BSN preferred within 5 years of start date.
• Licenses: Current State of Illinois RN licensure and CPR (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Render professional nursing care and assess patient condition.
• Plan, evaluate care, monitor progress and document observations.
• Delegate appropriate tasks and collaborate with team to meet unit goals.
• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate changes clearly.

$37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

  • Call Requirements (including Evening, Nights, Weekends & Holidays)

What you will do:

Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Employing critical thinking skills, assesses patients? condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients? progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. The following are general characteristics of this job, although duties may vary by assigned unit or shift.

What you will need:

• Education:
  • Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)

• License/Certification:
  • Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
  • Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
