Job description

Part-time Nursing Position

We offer a part-time position with competitive wages and excellent benefits.

Shifts Needed: 7a-7p and 7p-7a

Duties
Job Knowledge and Role Responsibilities:
  1. Knowledge of age-specific developmental factors for adult and geriatric residents (physical, cognitive, and socialization factors) in planning care delivery.
  2. Skills and techniques necessary to care for residents with needs such as Alzheimer's, dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious diseases, wound care, and other applicable disease processes.
  3. Provide nursing care in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents.
  4. Make daily rounds in all areas of nursing care, evaluate residents' physical and emotional conditions, gather feedback on residents' needs and problems, and implement necessary interventions.
Qualifications
Summary of Qualifications:
  1. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state.
  2. Previous experience in a long-term care setting; supervisory and organizational skills preferred.
  3. In good standing as confirmed by the State Department of Professional Credentialing.
  4. Excellent assessment, documentation, and leadership skills.
  5. Good communication skills, patient, and self-disciplined.
  6. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to perform required tasks.
