Job summary

AristaCare Health Services is seeking an RN Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day nursing activities at our Edison, NJ facility during weekend tours. The role carries administrative authority to ensure the highest quality care in accordance with governing standards.

The RN Supervisor will supervise nursing staff, participate in care planning, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while coordinating with the Director of Nursing Services.

Qualifications

• Must have a nursing degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved RN program.
• Must hold an active, unencumbered RN license for the state of New Jersey.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisor experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or related health care facility.
• At least 12 months of training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day nursing activities during tour of duty.
• Exercise administrative authority and accountability to ensure quality care.

AristaCare is seeking for an RN Supervisor responsible for the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during your tour of duty. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. As Nurse Supervisor you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.

Shift: (7-3 or 3-11) every weekend

Requirements

• Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved RN program.
• Must have an active, unencumbered RN license for the state of New Jersey
• Must have, as a minimum, 3 year(s) of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related health care facility.
• Must have, as a minimum, 12 months training experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
• BLS Certification
