Job summary

AristaCare is seeking an RN Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day nursing activities at our Edison, NJ facility during your tour of duty. This role carries administrative authority under the Director of Nursing Services to ensure the highest quality of care.

Shift: (7-3 or 3-11) every weekend. Requires an active NJ RN license, a nursing degree, and at least 3 years of supervisory experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or related setting. BLS certification is also required.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification is required.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in hospital, long-term care, or related facility.
• 12 months of training in rehabilitative/restorative nursing practices.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university or graduation from an approved RN program.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day nursing activities on assigned shift.
• Provide administrative authority and accountability as Nursing Supervisor under the Director of Nursing Services.

Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. AsNurseSupervisoryou are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved RN program.
• Must have an active, unencumbered RN license for the state of New Jersey
• Must have, as a minimum, 3 year(s) of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related health care facility.
• Must have, as a minimum, 12 months training experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
