We are currently seeking an experienced:

REGISTERED NURSE SUPERVISOR (RN)

Job Description:

1. Supervise the Facility and direct nursing staff during shifts to ensure optimal patient care.
2. Assist the Director of Nursing in coordinating and supervising the Nursing Services Department.
3. Oversee Nursing services during shifts in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act, Facility policies, and applicable regulations.
4. Support nurses during acute patient episodes.
5. Address employee issues promptly and document actions taken.
6. Take on-call responsibilities as needed.
7. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Registered Nurse license from an accredited School of Nursing, valid in North Carolina, with proof of renewal every other year.
3. Commitment to providing quality nursing care, following doctor’s orders, and interest in geriatric nursing.
4. CPR certification renewed annually.
5. Participation in in-service training and staff meetings as required.
6. Ability to supervise nursing staff effectively, ensuring timely and appropriate completion of work assignments.
7. Knowledge of and adherence to personnel, department, and Facility policies, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
8. Long-term care experience preferred.
