Job description

Responsibilities

This role is remote (with a current CA RN license) and requires working PST business hours.

Admin on-call duties are required on weekends and holidays.

Position Summary:

The Supervisor of Utilization Management Inpatient Clinical will oversee inpatient UM staff, ensuring effective utilization management reviews for inpatient cases. This role collaborates closely with the Care Coordination and Care Management teams to ensure appropriate utilization reviews and efficient care delivery. The supervisor will also ensure compliance with internal and external policies, regulations, and organizational goals.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of recent managed care experience.
• Experience supervising staff and monitoring productivity and performance.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program: Registered Nurse.
• Valid and current CA RN license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Over 3 years of experience in acute and/or primary care.
• Experience with Medical Criteria Group applications.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or an advanced clinical degree.
