Job description

Responsibilities

This role is remote (with a current CA RN license) and requires working PST business hours. The position also involves Admin on-call duties during weekends and holidays.

Position Summary:

The Supervisor of Utilization Management Inpatient Clinical will oversee clinical inpatient UM staff, ensuring effective performance of utilization management (UM) reviews for inpatient cases. This role collaborates closely with the Care Coordination and Care Management teams to ensure appropriate utilization reviews and efficient care delivery. The Supervisor will also ensure compliance with internal and external policies, regulations, and organizational goals.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of recent Managed Care experience.
  • Experience supervising staff and monitoring productivity and performance.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a Registered Nurse license.
  • Valid and current CA RN license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Over 3 years of acute and/or primary care experience.
  • Experience with Medical Criteria Group applications.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a related advanced clinical degree.
