Job summary

Lake Bennet Center for Rehabilitation & Healing in Florida seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead the nursing team and coordinate daily operations under the Director of Nursing.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, supervise staff, maintain patient care quality, and oversee medication supply while supporting residents and their families with compassion and professionalism. The position requires Florida AHCA Clearinghouse background screening.

Qualifications

• RN with Long term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
• A nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of two (2) years of direct care in long-term care, restorative or geriatric settings.
• Minimum one (1) year as a nursing supervisor, preferably in a nursing home.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Must meet state licensure requirements with no disciplinary action.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, organizes, implements, and directs nursing services for residents on the floor assigned.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations and facility policies.
• Reviews complaints and grievances and reports to the Director of Nursing as required.
• Maintains adequate stock of medications and supplies to meet resident needs.
• Assists in developing written assessments of nursing needs and assigns staff accordingly.
• Encourages staff to attend trainings and participate in external programs.

Education

A nursing degree from an accredited college or university.

Current CPR Certification.
