Job summary

Signature HealthCARE in Ridgely, TN is seeking a bedside RN to deliver direct nursing care, manage ADLs with residents’ comfort and safety, and supervise nursing assistants on shift. You will document care plans and coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges with the interdisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates have an active TN RN license, possible CPR/BLS, and 1+ year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in long-term care, with familiarity in EHR systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in the state of practice (Tennessee).
• CPR/BLS certification preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and skilled nursing procedures.
• Assist residents with ADLs and ensure comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.
• Supervise and direct nursing assistants and medication aides during the assigned shift in accordance with facility policies and regulations.
• Monitor and observe residents’ physical and emotional status; notify the attending physician and responsible party of any change.
• Develop, implement, and review individualized resident care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation per facility policy and procedure.
• Coordinate resident admissions, transfers, and discharges according to established procedures.
• Participate in quality assurance activities, staff education, and regulatory surveys as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or designee.
