The Clinical Supervisor, in collaboration with the Director, is responsible for the continuous safe operation of the assigned department, including all aspects of patient care, staffing, fiscal responsibility, and strategic goals of the unit. They are a designated leader responsible for the implementation, supervision, and evaluation of safe patient care while promoting a safe environment for employees, families, and visitors. The Clinical Supervisor maintains clinical and professional competency appropriate to the ages, developmental stages, and special needs of the population. Service excellence behavior is promoted at all times.
The RN Supervisor Psych Full Time Nights candidate will possess the following education, license/certifications, and experience:
Associates degree in Nursing required.
2-3 years of Acute Care or comparable experience with demonstrated leadership ability preferred.
A valid Permanent Multi-State RN or LPN License from the state in which you reside is required. If you hold a RN or LPN license from another Compact state, you must apply for and obtain a Multi-State RN or LPN License from your state within 30 days. American Heart Association BLS CPR certification is required. Other certifications may be required based on the specific unit and must be obtained within the orientation period.
