RN Supervisor Oncology Full Time Days - Position Summary

The Clinical Supervisor, in collaboration with the Director, is responsible for the continuous safe operation of the assigned department, including all aspects of patient care, staffing, fiscal responsibility, and strategic goals of the unit. They serve as a designated leader responsible for the implementation, supervision, and evaluation of safe patient care while promoting a safe environment for employees, families, and visitors. The Clinical Supervisor maintains clinical and professional competency appropriate to the ages, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population. Service Excellence behavior is promoted at all times.

Qualifications

The RN Supervisor Oncology candidate will possess the following education, license/certifications, and experience.

Education/Other Qualifications:

• Minimum Education: Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum Experience: 2-3 years of Acute Care or comparable experience with demonstrated leadership ability preferred.
• Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: A valid Permanent Multi-State RN or LPN License from your state of residence is required. If you hold an RN or LPN license from another Compact state, you must apply for and obtain a Multi-State RN or LPN License from your state within 30 days. American Heart Association BLS CPR certification is required. Additional certifications may be required based on the specific unit and are expected within the orientation period.
