The Miami VA Healthcare System's Nursing Service seeks an experienced RN Supervisor (Primary)/Assistant Nurse Manager (Secondary) to lead daily operations and promote quality care in a growing VA medical center. You must be an excellent communicator and team player who is adaptable to the needs of a growing medical center.

The RN Supervisor will support program development, supervise staff, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance evidence-based practices and patient care

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by ACEN or CCNE.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in the United States.
• English language proficiency per 38 U.S.C. 7403(f) and VA requirements.
• Bridge program candidates may be considered for temporary appointment pending licensure.
• Must pass pre-employment physical examination per VA Handbook 5019.

Responsabilités

• Support the Nurse Manager with 24/7 unit operations and supervision.
• Provide orientation, training, and development of staff.
• Lead with evidence-based practices and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Promote culturally competent care and accountability.
• Assist in scheduling and coverage as needed.
