Job summary

NaphCare, Inc. is hiring an RN Supervisor/Nurse Educator in Atlanta, GA to lead the nursing service program at Fulton County Jail. You will coordinate rounds, document histories, and support training for clinical staff while ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

You will develop and deliver educational materials, assess training impact, and collaborate with clinical leaders to improve patient outcomes in a correctional care setting.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Georgia RN license.
• Active CPR certification.
• Significant clinical RN experience in relevant area.
• Proven experience training medical staff.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, structure, implement and guide the delivery of the nursing service program within the facility.
• Conduct daily clinical rounds.
• Take and document all patient history and vital signs.
• Assist with daily triage/sick call, minor procedures and patient assessments.
• Assist in examinations and/or treatments.
• Assist in evaluating the quality and effectiveness of clinical services.
• Assist with orientation and training activities of clinical personnel.
• Observe and review documentation, orders and patient care plans.
• Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies within the facility.
• Create and deliver educational materials and lesson plans to meet learning needs.
• Identify knowledge gaps and tailor training programs for staff.
• Organize training sessions and manage logistics across methods.
• Assess impact of training on staff performance and patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with nurse managers and educators to develop training initiatives.
• Ensure training programs meet regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance to new nurses and preceptors.
• Maintain records of training participation and outcomes.
