Job Summary and Qualifications

The RN Supervisor for our NTICU ensures high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination during the shift. In collaboration with management, the Supervisor directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care, serves as a resource for staff, and models the organization’s values to support an exceptional patient experience and clinical outcomes.

What you will do in this role:

  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and quality care.
  • Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care quality, collaborating with management.
  • Work with subject matter experts and managers to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when needed.
  • Operationalize nursing strategies to improve engagement, including employee rounding and other initiatives.
  • Contribute to staffing decisions, including interviewing, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Assist with staff scheduling based on patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
  • Support inventory control and manage supplies and equipment.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years in a Charge Nurse or leadership role (preferred)
  • 1 year leadership experience (required)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 60 months of start date
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of start date
  • Registered Nurse license
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree (must be obtained within 1 year of employment)
