Job summary

Baylor University Medical Center (BUMC), part of Baylor Scott & White Health, is hiring a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift in Dallas, Texas. The Acute Care units serve high-acuity patients and emphasize learning, mentoring and teamwork to improve patient outcomes.

Required: Associate’s Degree in Nursing, 2 years Med/Surg RN experience, 1 year leadership (e.g., RN Charge Nurse), RN license, and BLS (or obtain within 30 days).

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing, RN license, BLS or obtain within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience.
• 1 year of leadership experience (e.g., RN Charge Nurse).
• Preferred: microvascular surgery unit experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care in acute care units for high-acuity patients.
• Collaborate with interprofessional teams to support patient care and outcomes.
• Contribute to unit governance and professional development.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s Degree.
• Major: Nursing.
• Required Experience: 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience.
• Leadership Experience: 1 year (ex. RN Charge Nurse).
• Preferred Experience: Experience on a microvascular surgery unit.
• Certification/License/Registration: Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtain within 30 days of hire or transfer.
