Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, Holy Cross Health Germantown, is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to lead the Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Unit during assigned shifts. This part-time role focuses on safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting colleagues and efficient unit performance.

The successful candidate will oversee staffing, ensure regulatory compliance, mentor staff, and drive quality and safety initiatives within a Catholic, not-for-profit health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Maryland.
• BSN required.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of three (3) years of acute care nursing experience in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, or related inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and operational leadership for the Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Unit during assigned shifts.
• Coordinate and supervise patient care delivery to ensure quality, safety, and outcomes.
• Direct and support professional and non-professional staff while fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, organizational, and nursing practice standards.
• Participate in development, implementation, and evaluation of patient care standards and delivery processes.
• Support quality improvement, patient safety, patient experience, and performance excellence initiatives.
• Facilitate onboarding, orientation, training, and ongoing professional development.
• Serve as clinical resource, role model, and escalation point for patient care issues and operational concerns.
