Apple Rehab Orchard Grove in Connecticut seeks an experienced RN Supervisor for a free float position. You will oversee nursing services, supervise staff, ensure compliance with regulations, and coordinate with the Nursing Director to support patient care on the third shift.

Part-time (24 hours) with weekend on-call requirements; per diems welcome to apply. Competitive pay starting at $54/hour to $56/hour, with generous benefits including health insurance, PTO, holidays, and retirement options.

RN Registered Nurse Supervisor (Free Float Position)

Pay Rate: starting $54 up to $56

Available Shifts

• Part‑Time (24 hrs) third shift 11 pm–7 am
• Perdiems welcome to apply!

Responsibilities

• Plan, oversee, and execute nursing services for residents while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Supervise day‑to‑day nursing activities to guarantee residents receive top‑quality care consistently.
• Collaborate with the Nursing Director to strategize nursing service operations and emergency support provisions for shifts.
• Coordinate nursing activities in alignment with medical requirements, physician directives, and general care plans.
• Manage and direct charge nurses to ensure residents receive proper care.
• Adjust care plans in collaboration with medical staff to address emergency medical needs.
• Assume total responsibility for operating decisions in the absence of superiors.
• Ensure adequate relief staff availability before leaving the facility and notify residents' personal physicians in case of significant changes in condition or immediate medical care needs.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license and good standing as a Registered Nurse.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Strong attention to detail, good follow‑through skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated cooperation in assisting others and ability to work as a team.
• Long‑term care experience preferred.
• Knowledgeable of general rehabilitative and restorative nursing and medical practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long‑term care.

Additional Expectations

All RN Registered Nurse Supervisor positions require weekend on‑call availability to support staff and residents. Compensation details are available upon inquiry. Per diem staff are expected to fulfill two weekend shifts monthly to meet requirements.
