Qualifications

Details

  • Department: Emergency Department | ED
  • Schedule: 1.0 FTE, Full Time, 8 or 10 hour shifts, including 2 evening shifts weekly with minimal weekend and holiday work

Hospital: Columbia St. Marys Ozaukee

Location: Mequon, WI

Responsibilities

  1. Supervise, coordinate, and provide leadership to clinical/non-clinical or interdisciplinary teams, ensuring quality patient care and achievement of clinical objectives.
  2. Assess daily patient care needs and develop/distribute patient care assignments accordingly.
  3. Delegate appropriate duties based on team members' skills and abilities, in accordance with State Nurse Practice Acts.
  4. Gather information from team members to plan patient care for each shift.
  5. Evaluate care delivery, provide feedback and coaching, and participate in performance management and disciplinary actions as needed.
  6. Participate in the hiring process, including conducting interviews and making recommendations.

Requirements

  • Licensed Registered Nurse from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or a multi-state/Compact State license, obtained prior to hire.
  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire, accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • At least 1 year of relevant professional experience.
