Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Emergency Department RN experience required.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
• Charge RN experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment with a high acuity patient population.
• Mentor and support nursing students.
• Maintain patient ratios of 4:1, with surge ratios of 5:1.

Requirements:

• 2 Years' Charge RN Experience
• 5 Years' ED RN Experience
• Associate's Degree in Nursing
• Registered Nurse (RN) Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 30 days of hire

Nights, 4/10's or 5/8's

Department Overview:

Our Emergency Department is a fast-paced environment with high acuity patients. We support learning, mentoring, and growth. Patient population includes adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients. Patient ratios are 4:1, with surge ratios of 5:1. The department has 20 beds, is a Level 3 trauma center, and is accredited for chest pain and stroke care. We see about 100 patients daily, including 20-30 EMS ambulances.
