Valley View Manor in Norwich, NY is seeking an energetic RN Supervisor for the day shift to oversee nursing services in our 82-bed facility. The role emphasizes supervision, regulatory compliance, and high-quality resident care.

The RN Supervisor will coordinate staffing, perform rounds, and communicate with families and medical providers, ensuring safety and excellent clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years nursing experience; preferably long-term care.
• Licensed in NYS as a registered nurse.
• Ability to supervise staff and maintain high standards of care.
• Knowledge of PICC/IV management, wound vac, trach care, and drains is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, directing, supervising and evaluating nursing services to achieve clinical/financial goals.
• Ensure facility compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure availability of equipment, supplies, and staffing for resident care.
• Complete rounds to ensure policy and procedure compliance.

Position Title: RN Supervisor

Valley View Manor is looking for an energetic and compassionate Day shift Nurse Supervisor (RN)for our 82-bed facility located in Norwich, NY.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assists in planning, organizing, directing, supervising and evaluating all nursing services provided in the facility to achieve desired clinical and financial outcomes.
• Assist in ensuring that facility is in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Assists in ensuring necessary equipment, supplies, and staffing are available for the delivery of the prescribed resident/patient care.
• Completes rounds of the facility to ensure compliance with all policies, procedures and regulations.
• Coordinates the care of residents on assigned shift.
• Demonstrate effective and organized communication with residents, families, staff, and medical providers.
• Demonstrate ability to solve problems and multi-task under pressure.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• 2 years of nursing experience preferred, preferably in long-term care setting.
• Licensed in NYS as a registered nurse.
• Ability to supervise and discipline staff and ensure that high standards of care are maintained as necessary.
• Knowledge and experience of PICC/IV management, wound vac management, trach care, medical drain management preferred'
