Job summary

Summa Health System seeks a Clinical Access Center Supervisor to lead front-line staff under the RN Manager. You will interview and select personnel, direct, coach, and discipline as needed, and ensure all patient interactions comply with federal and state requirements.

The role emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and teamwork in a fast-paced hospital setting. On-site schedule is full-time, with no weekends, and salary ranges reflect hourly compensation across shifts.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred; Ohio RN license.
• 1–3 years in a clinical communications center.
• CCNE or ACEN accreditation for nursing program.

Summary

Provides direct supervision, to staff under the direction of the RN Manager, Clinical Access Center. Interviews and recommends selection of new personnel. Directs, guides, evaluates, counsels, disciplines, and if necessary, recommends dismissal of staff. Ensures that all patient interactions meet federal and state compliance requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

Formal Education Required:

• Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) required, BSN preferred
• Graduate of a program of professional nursing that is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)
• Current license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio

Experience And Training Required

• One (1) to three (3) years experience in a clinical communications center.
• One (1) year of project management or team leader experience preferred.
