Qualifications

The Clinical Supervisor is a member of the unit-based leadership team, responsible for supervising nursing operations within a specific unit. In the absence of the Manager or Director, the supervisor may assume 24-hour nursing responsibilities, working with a designated patient population.

Required
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license
  • Certification in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
Preferred
  • BSN degree
  • Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN)
  • One (1) year of experience in a clinical specialty
  • Additional Life Support credentials (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP) or other clinical certifications specific to units
  • Visual color acuity relevant to the role in specific units
