Responsibilities
  1. Supervise, coordinate, and provide leadership while directing activities of clinical/non-clinical or interdisciplinary teams of licensed and non-licensed caregivers and support staff delivering quality patient care and ensuring implementation of clinical objectives in an assigned area.
  2. Assess daily patient care needs and develop/distribute patient care assignments, ensuring appropriate care is provided.
  3. Delegate duties according to State Nurse Practice Act, based on team members' skills and abilities.
  4. Gather information from team members to plan patient care for the shift.
  5. Evaluate care delivered by staff, providing feedback, coaching, and participating in corrective actions as needed.
  6. Participate in hiring processes for new staff, including conducting interviews and making recommendations.
Requirements
  • Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider (within 1 month of hire), American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted; RN credential from Wisconsin Board of Nursing (or current home state license for multi-state/Compact State) obtained prior to hire.
  • Education: Professional licensure/certification and 1 year of relevant experience.
